Our Day with Lots of Cute Puppies

After a great Burger from Zoe's dear friend Wendy and Chris's Berger shack, we found our selves across the street at a Peebles pet store they just received in 85 really tiny cute puppies, we asked to play with 20 and they let us play with 5. It was an exhausting but everlasting experience full of Joy :D

A Day in NYC

Join us in a few videos of New york city. Devan has never been to this part of NYC this time around.

Letting go of desire

I keep going to a place of pain. Last night was an example , devan and i were about to go to sleep and i mentioned that during my run that evening i sprinted up hills and it felt really great. I guess i wanted him to tell me how great that is and how proud he is of my great running skills Nd how i dont sit on my ass any more who knows what i wanted , but the reaponse i got was "why did u even tell me that" i immediatelly hated him and felt like shit. His response to the story was not what i wanted or "desired". I shut down ,he then asked " what makes u upset about sharing that with me? "well devan obviously u did not make me happy with ur answer. He asked the question again I spent an hour trying to figure out why. Getting more frustrated and pissed off at him, because he kept asking the question and i could not get the answer. I wanted to know but at the same time was resisting it . He said perfect happiness is gods will as sadness is to what ? " over and over. It was my small will that wanted to be unhappy,and then devan used the word desire instead of will. And i thought " shit fuck " i have to drop my desires. But arent the fifillment of desires the way to happiness? Well that doesnt sound like a good time. Then i remembered where i was and what i am doing and realized that God is where my happiness liies and that is really true,

Sharing

Since a car showed up for our trip Devan and i have been sharing everything . Money , food , deodorant , and sometimes a toothbrush . ( the deodorant and toothbrush incidents are usually because i have misplaced mine.) This sharing is quite amazing since we have only known each other for a short while and yet as students of ACIM ,trust is the first thing we truly need to learn to do. In the begining of this i had some money and Devan had nothing. I told him that we could share whatever i had. I was extremely nervous about this ,but knew it needed to happen. Soon after, Devan got a really great job and he started making a big salary . He then shared with me. The miraculous part of this is i had to surrender all my previous beliefs about trust. I had just left a man who lied to me daily . Trust was the last thing i beleived i could do again . With Spirit leading me , the sharing and trusting has brought me love and joy and that is all i truly want.
